My name is Randy Read (pronounced the same way as “reading” a book; Reed). Well, it says Randal on some papers, but everybody calls me Randy.

This has been my dream project for years; to display the history of Lindsay’s Academy Theatre. I’ve had a long history with the theatre both as an audience member and as a performer, musician, stage hand, director, etc. It’s always intrigued me to look at the history of this wonderful building and my hope is the podcast will enlighten people as to the great backstories of this 125-year-old building, as well as what’s happening today.

The Now & Then podcast’s first season, currently underway, has a new episode every month and is not just about what happened then, but as the title suggests, now. I have guest speakers on what is in production now and what there is to enjoy.
