The Now & Then Podcast is a passion project started by Lindsay, Ontario’s own Randy Read. A life long lover of music and the arts, Randy holds fond memories of the Flato Academy Theatre from his time cottaging in the Kawartha’s where he attended camps and shows as a young boy, to working with the Odyssey Project and helping young musicians find their own love for the arts as a local music teacher.

The goal of the Academy Theatre Now & Then Podcast is to highlight the rich history of the arts in Lindsay. By interviewing key players in the Academy’s history, listeners get a unique, first hand account of the shows, stories, perfomers and of course, the illusive “Mary” ghost of the theatre.
